Territories and quotas
Divide your market by state, region, industry or account owner, route new work to the right people and track quota attainment on a map of Malaysia.
For: Sales managers and adminsSteps
- Go to Sales → Territories & quotas and select New territory. Tick regions or individual states, add industries, account owners or named accounts, and choose the territory owner or a team with its routing strategy.
- Territories are checked from the top: the first one that matches wins, and named accounts win over any rule. Use the arrows to change the order.
- New leads, unowned new accounts and renewal deals that match a territory go to its owner, or to a member of its team through the routing engine. New deals take their account's territory.
- Changing a territory never moves existing records by itself. Select Reassign, preview which accounts (with their open deals) and open leads would move — optionally to the territory owner — and select Apply reassignment. Each change is recorded in the audit log.
- Choose Month, Quarter or Year and select Set next to a rep, team or territory to enter its quota in ringgit; it is spread evenly over the period's months. The tables show closed-won against quota, attainment and pipeline coverage, and the quarter table shows each rep's quota and wins by quarter.
- The map colours each state by the attainment of the territory that covers it, with the same figures in the table beside it. Select Territory insights for AI suggestions on risks and expansion opportunities — they change nothing.
Good to know
- A team quota becomes the team's number in Sales → Forecast when you filter by that team.
- Reps see their own attainment; managers see their teams and set quotas for their team members.
