Deploy sandbox changes to production

Compare a sandbox with production and deploy the configuration you choose, with a rollback.

For: Workspace admins (Enterprise add-on)

Steps

  1. 1In production, open Settings → Sandboxes and select Compare & deploy on the sandbox.
  2. 2Review the changes per type — Added, Changed or Removed. Open an item to see each field before and after.
  3. 3Select the items to deploy (or Select all) and select Deploy to production.
  4. 4Read the result: items that fail a check (an invalid workflow, a missing team, a role still in use) are listed and nothing of them is changed.
  5. 5If something is wrong, select Roll back in Deploy history to put production back as it was.

Good to know

  • Only configuration is deployed — never customer records.
  • Items are matched by their key (a team's key, a template's key and language), so references point at production's own records.
  • Every deploy is in the audit log of both the sandbox and production.
