Choose how record numbers look

Set the prefix, whether the year is included, and how many digits case, lead, deal, quotation, order, invoice and receipt numbers have.

For: Workspace admins and module admins

Steps

  1. 1Open Settings → Numbering.
  2. 2For each record type, change the prefix (1–6 capital letters or digits), whether the year is included, and the number of digits. The Next number column shows what the next record will get.
  3. 3Select Save numbering.

Good to know

  • Existing numbers never change; the new format starts with the next record.
  • With the year on, numbering starts again at 1 each year (Malaysia time).
  • You only see the record types whose module settings you manage.
