Sign in with a passkey

Use your fingerprint, face or screen lock instead of a password, or as your second step.

For: Everyone

Steps

  1. 1Ask your admin to allow passkeys in Settings → Security → Sign-in methods.
  2. 2Open My account → Security and select Add a passkey.
  3. 3Give it a name you'll recognise, such as “Work laptop”, then select Create passkey and confirm with your fingerprint, face or screen lock.
  4. 4Next time, select Sign in with a passkey on the sign-in page. No password or code is needed.
  5. 5To rename or remove a passkey, use the pencil or bin next to it in My account → Security.

Good to know

  • A passkey also works as your second step after a password, instead of the 6-digit code.
  • If your workspace requires a passkey for your role, you'll be asked to create one the next time you sign in, and you can't remove your last one.
  • Passkeys can't be phished: they only work on your workspace's own address.
