Email a report on a schedule

Send any saved report daily, weekly or monthly as Excel, CSV or PDF, to colleagues and to outside addresses.

For: Everyone who can save and export reports

Steps

  1. 1Open a saved report (Reports → Report library → Saved), select Export and choose Schedule….
  2. 2Choose how often (daily, weekly or monthly), the day and the time in Malaysia time, the file format and the language the report is written in.
  3. 3Add people in your workspace and, if needed, outside email addresses. Outside addresses get the file through your company mailbox.
  4. 4Select Save schedule. Send now delivers it straight away so you can check what recipients get.
  5. 5Every delivery appears in Run history with its result. Reports → Report library → Scheduled lists all your schedules.

Good to know

  • Recipients see the report as you do — your access applies — so only send it to people allowed to see that data.
  • If a delivery fails, MetriCRM tries again 15 minutes later and tells you. After three failed days in a row the schedule pauses until you resume it.
  • Without a working company mailbox, people in your workspace get a link to the report instead of the file, and outside addresses are skipped.
