Send a message broadcast

Send WhatsApp templates, SMS, Telegram or LINE messages to opted-in customers, with approval and delivery reports.

For: Marketing and supervisors

Steps

  1. 1Make sure customers have opted in: mark it on the contact page (Messaging consent), import a CSV with a consent column, or let them reply START. Telegram and LINE customers opt in by messaging you.
  2. 2Open MetriChat → Message broadcasts and select New broadcast.
  3. 3Pick the channel and the audience (contact segments or lists). For WhatsApp, pick an approved template and fill its variables from the contact's name or fixed text; for other apps, write the message in each language.
  4. 4Choose when to send (Malaysia time) and how many messages per minute, then Submit for approval. The audience is counted: who will receive it and who is skipped (no opt-in, opted out, no number).
  5. 5An approver selects Approve & schedule. Follow sent, delivered, read and replies on the broadcast's page; replies arrive in Conversations.

Good to know

  • Customers can reply STOP (BERHENTI, 退订) at any time; they are skipped from then on.
  • Messenger and Instagram don't allow broadcasts.
