Message a contact from their record

Start a WhatsApp, SMS or other app conversation from a contact page; it opens in your inbox, assigned to you.

For: Agents and sales reps

Steps

Open the contact and select Message.
Choose the app. WhatsApp and SMS use the contact's mobile number; Messenger, Instagram, Telegram and LINE are available once the customer has written to you there.
For WhatsApp, pick an approved template unless the customer wrote in the last 24 hours. For other apps, type your message.
Select Send. The conversation opens in MetriChat, assigned to you, and replies arrive there.

Good to know

The conversation is added to the contact's timeline.
