Set up MyInvois e-invoicing
Connect your workspace to LHDN MyInvois with your own ERP credentials and taxpayer details.
For: AdminsSteps
- In MyTax, open MyInvois and register MetriCRM as an ERP system for your business. Copy the client ID and client secret it shows.
- In MetriCRM go to Settings → e-Invoice (MyInvois). Fill in your taxpayer details: registered name, TIN, SSM number, SST number (if any), MSIC code, business activity, phone and address.
- Under Connection choose Sandbox while you test, paste the client ID and secret, and select Save credentials. The secret is encrypted and never shown again.
- Optionally upload your digital certificate (.p12) and its password so e-invoices are signed as version 1.1. The expiry date is shown so you can renew it in time.
- Select Test connection. MetriCRM signs in to MyInvois and checks your own TIN.
- Under e-Invoicing rules, tick “Our business must issue e-invoices” once LHDN's current rules apply to you, and decide whether sales to buyers without a TIN go into a monthly consolidated e-invoice.
- In Product classification mapping, give each product its LHDN classification code, tax type and unit of measure. Products without a mapping use the defaults.
- On each business customer's account, add their TIN, ID type and number under e-Invoice details and select Validate TIN.
Good to know
- Switch the environment to Production only when your sandbox tests pass — documents sent to Production are real tax records.
- Only people with the e-Invoices configure permission can change these settings.
