Track campaign ROI and attribution

Create campaigns, link their journeys, forms and UTM values, and compare spend with influenced pipeline and won revenue.

For: Marketing managers and leadership

Steps

  1. 1Go to MetriReach → Campaigns & ROI and select New campaign.
  2. 2Enter the name, channel, spend in RM and dates. Add the utm_campaign values used in the campaign's links, and tick the MetriReach forms and journeys that belong to it.
  3. 3Choose the period, the attribution model (first touch, last touch or linear) and the lookback window, then select Apply.
  4. 4Read the tiles (spend, influenced pipeline, won revenue, attributed revenue, return on spend), the channel mix and the campaign table.

Good to know

  • Touches are submissions of linked forms, tracked website visits with a matching utm_campaign, and the sends and clicks of linked journeys.
  • Won revenue always reconciles: attributed plus unattributed equals the deals won in the period.
  • Deals reach contacts through the deal's contact and its buying committee; amounts are in RM.
