Group products into categories

Sort products into categories for quotations, invoices and reports such as Category Product Details.

For: Sales admins

Steps

Open Settings → Product categories and select Add category. Name it in each language you use.
Open Sales → Products, edit a product and choose its category.
In Reports, run Category Product Details, or build a report on invoice lines grouped by category.

Good to know

Each product has one category.
Turning a category off hides it from the product form; products already in it keep it.
