Give AI tools from your own systems

Add an external MCP server (your ERP, inventory or another system) and choose which of its tools MetriAgent and the copilot may use.

Steps

Open Settings → AI connections (MCP) and select Add MCP server.
Enter a name and the server's HTTPS URL, choose how it signs in (none, a bearer token or OAuth client credentials) and paste the secret.
Select Save and discover tools. MetriCRM connects, lists the tools and keeps every new tool blocked.
For each tool you want, tick Allow and set its risk: read-only, low risk or changes data.
Choose the autonomy level: L0 only suggests, L1 asks a person before every call, L2 runs on its own when every guardrail passes (low-risk tools only).
Use Check now to test the connection at any time; the status shows Healthy or the error.

Only HTTPS servers on public addresses can be added; private, internal and cloud metadata addresses are blocked.
While an agent answers a customer, only read-only and low-risk tools can run without a person.
Secrets are stored encrypted and never shown again. Results are redacted under your AI data policy before AI sees them.
