Connect an AI app with MCP

Let Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP app look up and update your records as you, with the permissions you choose.

Steps

An admin opens Settings → AI connections (MCP) and selects Turn on.
Copy the server URL shown on the MetriCRM MCP server card — it ends in /api/mcp.
In your AI app, add a custom connector or remote MCP server and paste the URL.
The app opens your workspace's sign-in page. Sign in as usual (with two-step verification if you use it).
Check what the app asks for, untick anything it should not do, and select Allow.
Ask the app for something, for example “find the contact Mei Ling and add a note”. Each call runs as you.

An app can never do more than your role allows, and it can never delete records, refund, give discounts, take payments, export data or change permissions.
Personal data in results follows your AI data policy, so emails and phone numbers may appear as placeholders such as [EMAIL_1].
Revoke an app under Connected apps in Settings → AI connections; it stops working at once. Every call is in the audit log.
